Seller to warehouse: check the order while it is close
Save the seller’s promise, inspect the stored item and track the correct deadline before committing it to international shipping.

Start with the seller’s exact offer
The seller supplies the goods; Kakobuy places and coordinates the purchase. Save the listing, selected variant, quantity, agreed custom details and seller messages. If stock or price changes, ask what is being proposed before accepting a substitute or paying more. A domestic tracking gap alone does not prove that the order is lost.
The published 5-Day Return and Exchange Guarantee is a process for eligible seller goods, not a universal right for every purchase. Its captured terms describe 120 hours counted from the hour after the order becomes Stocked in. Check the actual status timestamp, exclusions and charges in the current order. Custom goods, removed tags and several restricted categories may not qualify. A return request is not the same as acceptance.
For an unconditional return, the published cost structure includes relevant domestic freight and a service charge that varies with the monthly return count. Do not assume a “first free” handling allowance also pays freight, or applies to your account and reason. Ask for the itemised amount before confirming.
Manual orders need a separate terms check
When a normal seller link cannot be loaded, the official guide offers a manual Fill & Buy alternative. Its captured form warns about limitations on quality verification, after-sales, cancellation and order changes. Read the current checkbox terms before paying; do not assume the seller’s marketplace badge automatically carries into this channel.
For a Yupoo album or another reference page, an image may not identify a purchasable item or a complete specification. Provide the seller contact or usable product link, exact colour, size, price and quantity. Ask support to confirm anything that cannot be entered clearly. A manual request is not evidence that the product is available.
1688: minimum quantities and carton counts
The captured 1688 buying guidance asks buyers to check minimum quantities and agree return terms with the supplier. It also says the agent counts boxes without guaranteeing the number of pieces inside each box. A carton record therefore may not establish a piece count.
Before a multi-piece purchase, ask whether the inspection you need is available and what it costs. Keep the supplier’s packing list and agreed quantity. If 46 pieces arrive against an order for 50, report the four-piece discrepancy with the order record; do not treat a one-carton stock-in entry as proof of all 50 pieces.
How to read QC as visual evidence
Compare model, colour, size tag, visible condition and included parts against the actual order. If a measurement matters, request that measurement with clear units and reference points. More photos only help when they answer a specific visible question. They do not override a sealed-package policy or create function and authenticity testing.

Warehouse storage and incident records
The warehouse compensation article describes original-price compensation for purchased goods lost or damaged there. For forwarded goods, it asks for transaction proof and states a maximum of 5,000 RMB per transfer order. Keep the order and payment evidence in either case, identify where the incident occurred and ask support to apply the relevant terms. These published service terms do not decide every possible dispute.
The storage guidance separates normal goods, with 100 free days from stock-in, from abnormal parcels, with 60 days from the stated receipt event. Perishable goods have a shorter stated period. Check the deadline shown for each item rather than treating the two periods as consecutive.
The October extension page lists 10 yuan per OG order for 30 days. Confirm eligibility, the current amount and the new expiry before the storage deadline. A cooling-off reference is not a promise of another free month, and you should not rely on a reminder email to keep an order from expiring.

Seller tracking says delivered, but the item is not stored
A seller-to-warehouse delivery event and a matched warehouse item are different records. Save the seller’s tracking number, delivery timestamp, order number and the expected contents. Check whether the purchase was split into more than one domestic parcel before treating a missing item as part of the delivered package.
Ask the agent to match the domestic parcel to the item order and explain the next check. If the seller must supply a packing list or delivery proof, keep that reply with the same case. Avoid placing a replacement order merely because one status has not updated: first establish whether the original parcel is awaiting identification, contains a discrepancy or needs a carrier trace.
Once the item is recorded, check its actual inspection, return and storage timestamps. A domestic carrier’s delivery time is not a substitute for the applicable warehouse deadline.
