Kakobuy costs: the amount between a find and your door
Separate item price, conversion, payment, warehouse extras and international freight. Keep dated estimates and conflicting fee descriptions out of a promised total.

Build the delivered cost in layers

“Zero service fee” does not mean the delivered order has no agent-related costs. Compare the amount you pay with the service and credited value you receive. A conversion markup and standard service fees can contribute to an all-in cost comparison; that measure is separate from a named payment-channel handling fee.
Two ¥8 descriptions are not automatically ¥16
The captured help article 63 describes a customs-declaration charge generally around 8 RMB depending on shipping method. Article 74 describes an 8-yuan packaging-consumables charge. The relationship between those descriptions is not resolved in the retained material.
Do not add them together or assume they are the same charge. Read the actual parcel breakdown and ask support which line applies to your shipment. Save that answer with the quote if the wording is unclear.
Payment articles disagree: use the actual checkout
Official help articles 64 and 99 list PayPal at 3.5% plus US$0.30, while article 65 lists 2.9% plus US$0.30. Both figures occur in official material. This desk therefore does not select one as a guaranteed current fee. Review the payment screen, the currency and the amount credited before confirming.
The captured guidance lists no agent handling charge for some local payment methods, but availability, provider fees and conversion still need checking. Wallet top-up, cancellation of an item purchase and withdrawal of a balance are separate transactions. An order refund to the balance does not mean a payment-provider withdrawal has already occurred.
For a withdrawal, read its processing estimate, destination method, identity requirements and treatment of handling fees. Do not budget using a promised two-day arrival or assume every original payment cost is refunded.

The example below is a 10 October 2026 estimate for a 1,000 g ordinary parcel to the United States. It shows different rates, restrictions and minimum weights. Its purpose is to explain the fields; these are not current prices or a route recommendation.
Follow the chosen route’s actual-versus-volumetric rule and divisor, minimum weight and rounding. Item net weight is not final packed chargeable weight. A cheap row that rejects the material or weight is not an eligible quote. The actual packing measurement may produce a refund or a request for a shortfall.
Buy an extra for the question it answers
A targeted paid photo may clarify a visible measurement. Reinforcement may improve packing, but does not remove fragile-goods exclusions. Insurance depends on the route terms, not just the amount selected. Compare each cost with the actual question or risk it addresses.
Storage has separate normal and abnormal clocks: the captured guidance lists 100 and 60 free days respectively. The October extension terms list 10 yuan per OG order for 30 days. Confirm eligibility and the new deadline before expiry; a cooling-off reference is not another guaranteed free month.
The final parcel costs more: compare like with like
Place the estimate and final bill beside each other. Match destination, route, currency and included services before comparing totals. Then check packed dimensions, actual weight, chargeable weight, minimum charge and rounding. A changed route or added packing service can explain a difference even if the goods have not changed.
Ask for the specific changed input and its calculation. If the route bills volumetric weight, removing a little item weight may leave the charge unchanged; if the minimum applies, splitting can create another minimum charge. Use the actual rate rule rather than assuming either action saves money.
Before approving a shortfall, check that the new service still accepts the contents and has the tracking and cover you intended to buy. Save the approved adjustment with the original quote so any later balance credit can be reconciled.
